OLA AMIGOS! xx
Waazaaaa?
How are you all doin'? I am doing absolutely rubbish because I am not well and I just want to sleeep.
Sadly I have an assessment tomorrow so after I am done posting this I am going to be studying. BOOOOO.
Something which every girl is fussing about nowadays( that includes me) is our skin. With all the pollution or the weather situation-where-ever you live- our skin keeps getting damaged most of the time. I know mine does. Like it's so frustrating, during the vacations my skin is all flawless and it has minimal pimples. The moment school starts I can't take care of my skin because there is so much work and then the little pimples start poppin' and leave marks.
Now this post is not about the products I use to take care of my skin because I am going to get brand new products and then do a blog post on them. After I use them so I can actually tell you what I think about the product.
In this post I am going to give some tips and tricks to take care of your skin.
I had done a post on the different kind of skin types
( Link below)
Here are some DIY things you can do to keep your skin fresh and glowin' daily.
Pimples:
Now all of us have these little suckers every now and then. The first thing to do when you get a pimple is don't keep touching it again and again. Do not even pop it otherwise it will leave a mark x_x I mean that's scary. When ever I get a pimple I ice it before going to bed and in the morning all the redness reduces. Some DIY tricks you could use to get rid of pimples are
a) Honey- Honey is very helpful when it comes to getting rid of pimples. Apply honey and leave it for 10 minutes. Wash it off with cold water.
b) Tea Tree Oil- Now I have never used this but I have read it helps. I wouldn't recommend it if you have severely oily skin.
c) Tomato- Yes you read it right. Use tomato. I mean who knew something used to make sauces could help clear your face? But it does. I have tried it. I read a lot of the beauty articles and dermatologists suggest using tomato on your pimples. You can even make a paste out of it
Lemon juice- Take a bit of cotton and dab our face lightly with some lemon juice and rinse it after 5 minutes. Something I would recommend is that first use it on your hand and see if your skin burns. If it does do not use this remedy.
Some other tips are to wash your face with luke warm water atleast twice a day.
Always pat your face dry, instead of rubbing the towel all over your face. This will prevent the bacteria from spreading all over your face.
Blackheads And Whiteheads:
Since I have a combination skin, blackheads and whiteheads are super duper annoying. Whenever I have time get a facial done and the lady removes it with the black head extractor. See I know a lot of us have the extractors and they are easily available in the market, but I wouldn't advice you to use it own your own. Mainly because there is a technique to use them and if you press to hard they can scar you.
One trick I use is to take an old toothbrush and dip it in some honey. Then I rub it on the black heads and whiteheads. Then after scrubbing for 5 minutes I wash my face with cold water. Before you do this don't forget to wash your face with warm water so that it can open the pores and the blackheads will come out more easily. When you wash your face with cold water the pores close.
You can even use a mixture of milk and nutmeg to get rid of them.
Acne:
Many people consider that acne and pimples are the same thing. To be honest they are different. A pimple is a blocked pore while acne occurs under the skin.
How to get rid of acne? Simple!
Honey and Cinnamon. Make a paste of honey and cinnamon and apply it on your face for about 15 minutes. Wash it off. Do this every day and see the results.
Since I am only 17 I can not give tips on aging and wrinkles because currently I haven't experienced any of those.
Sorry that I am not using my own photo-graphs. I will try next time xx
Cheerios xx
