Back To Basic Saturdays-The Power Of The Brushes

OLA AMIGOS! Waaazaaaa?

Like everyday I am burdened with loads of work but I am taking a break and what better way to utilize my break by writing a wallpost. Life is complicated. I mean it is, but if we know a simple basic things it can be pretty simple. I know most people look at make up the same way. They probably are like what blush, what foundation..wait there is a concealer? Woaah *dazed

To be very honest, I used to think make up was very complicated too, until I started to read about it and then it seriously was waaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy simple. So for someone who can probably relate to that I thought about doing a back to basic Saturday post. The concept being that every Saturday I will post about basic things people should know about make-up.

This post is about brushes. There are loads of make up brushes. These are various types. But here are the basic make up brushes you need. The uses of the right kind of make up brush is that when you use a right kind of brush your beauty products last longer and you get a more refined touch to it.
Like some wise soul said details are important. ( Dunno whether they actually said that or not x_x)

I had purchased this little make up brush kit from Lifestyle last year in November. It was just so adorable. So the photos below is basically all the brushes which are commonly used. Let's begin!

Not My Photo.

PS- All the below photos are mine. Photo editing comes in handy a lot.

A sponge applicator is basically used for applying the eye shadows. You can use this to smudge your eye shadow and give it the smokey eye effect as well.

The Lip Brush. Most of us use lipsticks. We obviously see this brush being used so much in Make-Up Tutorials or by make up artists because they do not apply the lip color directly to many people. This actually is very helpful because you can evenly spread your lip color and even smooth it a bit.

This brush has two sides to it.
I never really knew why this brush was required but trust me, I wouldn’t be anywhere without it anymore: P
The flexible brush side is basically grooms your eyebrows and gives it a bushy effect. You can also use it to prep your brow color. Not really prep I mean you can blend it.

Who doesn’t get clumped up eye  lashes after applying mascara? I for one do get them. They are pretty annoying but don’t you worry lovely the other comb side to this brush is basically to remove the clumps of your eye lashes. You can even use it on your brows to give them a more polished look

Right now you are confused at this brush because it is the same as the brush number one. Do not be confused. There is a difference between the sponge applicator and the eye shadow brush. Technically the sponge applicator is applied on the outer side of your eye lids and is used for the more smudge look. This brush is used to apply on the inner part of your eye lids. ( I am pretty sure it is not called the inner part..I just can't recall what it is called..wait wait..it's called the eye lid fold. The outer side will be called the upper eye lid platform

*feels smart*

So the last brush doesn't really need an introduction or stuff. This is the brush every one is very familiar with. It's the powder brush you can apply the blushes and foundations with this. There are of course different sorts of powder brushes depending on how you want to highlight your face.

Hope you have a great day xx
Love N Sprinkles xx
