Adios 2013, Ola 2014

So in nearly 7 hours( It's 5 pm right now) It will be 1st Jan 2014.

NEW YEAR AND DAD'S BIRTHDAY! Party xD

Well no party really..we don't do anything mainly because dad doesn't do the whole birthday celebration thing. We get him gifts :3

So new year means new year resolutions.

Here are a few of mine
1) Lose weight
2) Be a better person
3)Be positive and stay away from negative people.
4) Follow my dreams
5)Be a better elder sibling ( SO IMPORTANT)
6) Work more on my creative side as a person.


This is the first time I have resolutions and I am looking  forward to working on them

Exciting News & Baby Shopping!

So today I am finally ready to break the big news! We are expecting an addition to our family!! No no I am not pregnant but my mum is pregnant! She is due on January 21st.

I have known it since July and to be honest I am very happy about it :3 

This is going to be her 5th child and my fourth sibling. I am so excited about this baby.The doctor said the baby is more likely to be a boy :D So now I will have one little sister & 3 little brothers! :D

So of course as the due date is coming close we decided to do some baby shopping! I love little baby clothes. So here are some photos of our new baby haul!

  I think Mother-Care is a great place to shop for babies and the prices are really good

 This is the hospital bag for the day of the delivery. These I think are super essential. You have got to be prepared. So in this bag all the essential things are there. We put one blanket, baby clothes and some diapers.

 LIL SHOES :3 OMG these are the cutest things I have ever seen like little shoes for babies. We got this from Carter's and those of you who are familiar with Carter's know that the store is full of things for the new born babies and till the age of 7.

 These are baby socks and shoes. this is from Carter's again. I love that place.

Meeting Amina after 384784 years

As you might have noticed the number is a tad bit exaggerated. I am finally meeting my friend Amina. We used to live in the same building but then we shifted and then we never met which was booo! :C

So after nearly 4-5 years we are finally meeting. She is basically a part of our family. Even her mum is a great woman.

EEEEK I CAN'T WAIT. She will be here in nearly an hour or two. *jumps in excitement*

Recently I bought loads of stuff from a store in Dubai called Lifestyle. For those of you who aren't familiar with Lifestyle, it is a store that sells home decor, home fragrance, fashion bags and accessories and bath and beauty products. It's a lovely store and you can buy these products at a very affordable price. For those of you who live in Dubai Lifestyle is also part of the CENTREPOINT circle.
Their beauty range includes Rimmel, Deborah Milano, NYX, Maybelline and Max Factor.

One of the things I purchased was the ACTIVE Glamour Beauty Boosting Kit. I have actually never purchased any thing from this particular brand so I did a little bit of research and found out that ACTIVE cosmetics is basically a Manchester based Rainbow Cosmetics Beauty Whole Sale Brand

Coming back to the kit. It consists of 20 eye shadows, 2 blush and two double wand applicators and eye liner

There are 4 solid colors in the kit, which are

1. Black
2. Brown
3. Beige 
4. Purple

There are 4 rows with different shades from these solid colors in the kit. The kit even consists of the basic blush and a little mirror which I find adorable :3

Apart from the fact that this kit consists the basic make up essentials, the size of the kit makes it easier to be carried out from place to place in your handbag, which I find really handy because I do not like stuffing things in my handbag and making it look completely disorganized.

My Love For Vintage Furniture

Since I was a little girl I always had a dream that one day I will grow up and have a flat of my own. I am just seventeen now so there is no way my parents are going to let me move out. Next year in July I will be 18. I have always wanted to do something different with my life. One of these things include being an interior designer. I love to look around at different kinds of furniture and home arrangements.

So as I was saying..I have always wanted a place of my own. I would love to give it the Vintage theme. Like I am obsessed with Vintage interior. Like LOVE IT. Vintage is so classy yet unique in it's own way. Someday I hope to have a little place I call home with the perfect Vintage Touch x

Home Decor

Something I truly love apart from beauty & fashion is home decor. I am a huge sucker for Interior Designing and learning about how to make a house your home.

We are 6 people in my family. Mum & Dad, my sister and two brothers and myself. My parents are my super people. My dad has his own business in Dubai and my mum is a house-wife. For those of you who think being a house-wife is nothing I would like you to take of four kids. Between all the work and hassle of the family and making ends meet, my parents have successfully been able to convert our two bedroom apartment into our home.

We live Sharjah but we are from Pakistan. Being a Pakistani my parents have grown up in two different households. That is the reason why you will see a difference in our furniture arrangement. My parents have always taken keen interest on what they want in the bedrooms and the living room.

Christmas is over boo! :(

So the day to be jolly has nearly come to an end. Guess I will have to wait another year for Christmas again. I am going to miss the festive-ness Christmas spreads all around. The Christmas trees, decor, ornaments and the love of family and friends. Here are a few snaps I took when we went to the malls. I am gonna miss these Christmas-ee theme :C

Bath & Body Works: Secret WonderLand Body Butter and Cucumber Melon HandCream || Brushes Blushes N Specs ❤

I love Bath and Body Works. Like when you enter the shop you seriously do not want to leave it at all.

So recently I purchased two amazing products for a very reasonable price.

The first thing that I bought is the Secret Wonderland Body Butter. The Secret Wonderland is a whole Signature Collection at Bath and Body Works. It consists of shower gel, body butter, lotion. I am more of the Body Butter type person.

Body butter basically has a yoghurt like texture with great smell and you use it on your body. One piece of advice is that please do not use it on your face as it will block your pores and cause acne.

So firstly the body butter smells divine. It's got a sort of peach color I might say and it keeps your skin moisturized for nearly 24 hours. I apply my body butter after I have taken a bathe or had a shower and before I go to bed. I always focus on my elbows, knees and ankles while I use it.

The point of it is to make your skin soft and luscious.


The second thing I purchased is the Cucumber Melon hand cream. Hand cream is basically a lotion but a little bit thicker. My skin on the hands, so it will keep my hands moisturized. Of course like any other Bath and Body Works product this smells great aswell. So the next time I go to Bath and Body Works I will definitely get more of these products because I have fallen in love with them x
